Striploin is one of the cuts we recommend most often to home cooks. It delivers great beefy flavour, cooks beautifully in a pan or on the grill, and is forgiving enough to help build confidence in the kitchen.

💡 Here’s a butcher’s tip many people don’t know:

Between the meat and the fat cap, you’ll often find a thin silver-white membrane. While the fat itself is packed with flavour, this connective tissue can be surprisingly tough to chew. Trimming it off before cooking can make for a much better eating experience. If you’re a fan of the fat cap, sear it separately and serve it alongside the steak.

Small details like this are often what separate a good steak from a great one.
