I grew up in an Indian household where cuisine and culture were inseparable. As a young girl watched my mother prepare meals with such expertise and I was determined to replicate the unforgettable flavors of my youth. I strongly believe that women’s key characteristic is nurturing, be it to friend or family. Having travelled frequently after marriage, I picked up love for different cuisines courte
sy to my dearest husband. My idea through these classes is to share my knowledge with my students. Having trained under some amazing chefs as a hobby, I have managed creating my own style in cooking. I strongly believe that ‘you are what you eat’ and it is very important to be aware of the effect that food can have on our body. I hope to create much more awareness. I am a vegetarian myself and a lot of my friends always question me as to how I lead such a boring life with being a vegetarian. I have managed to change their opinion. All my recipes are vegetarian (no egg) and no alcohol is used in any kind or form. I have one beautiful teenage daughter who loves variety in food and I understand the anxiety parents experience when the children enter their teens and always want something new and different. Through these classes I hope to be able to train teenagers so that they are prepared for their challenging university life while they are away from their families. Please step further into my world of “Soul Cooking” and kindly remember to leave back your comments, as after all it is also about “Your Soul Cooking”.
