In Conversation With... Mudjimba Beach Boardriders 🌊

One of the best parts of supporting local clubs is getting to know the people behind them.

We recently caught up with Mudjimba Beach Boardriders President, Nick Anders and asked what the club means to the people who are part of it.

Here's what he told us...

"Competitive surfing is at the core of the club, but we're a community built around a love of the ocean that brings together people of all ages and abilities."

"While surfing is what brings us all together, friendships, mentorship and experiences keep people involved."

It's easy to see a boardriders club as a place to compete. But behind every event are volunteers giving up their time, families creating lifelong friendships and kids growing in confidence, both in and out of the water.

Those are the kinds of organisations we're proud to support.

And they’ve got big plans, with a goal to grow to 100 grassroots locations across Australia. 🙌

It’s simple, it’s local and there’s a pretty important reason behind it: stronger social connection can make a real difference to men’s health and wellbeing.

We reckon these guys are doing something pretty special.

A little bit of Bli Bli on the news, for a cause that means a whole lot. 💛🌾

We were proud to welcome Farm Angels and the Flanno-mobile to White’s IGA Bli Bli as part of this year’s campaign.

The campaign is all about getting behind the Aussie farmers who grow, nurture and produce so much of the fresh food we’re lucky enough to put on our shelves every day.

And yesterday, the story made the news, filmed right here at our Bli Bli store. 📺
