We are getting into the cooler months. But the Geelong City Market is never going to stop! We will be here every week, we can guarantee that! The 13th of June is no different with some of our favourites coming to the the stand! .droomer playing at 9am and the champion smashing it out at 11.30am.

The Geelong City Night Market is officially launching the Tastes of Greater Geelong.

You better believe we have grabbed (asked politely) the best of the best to take part in our first night market. We are here to bring the spirit back into Geelong. Having this amount of big name food stalls in one spot is going to be nothing but a feast for our future food belly. And we are here for it.

We love the fact that even during winter we have a full list of market stalls. We love the fact that everyone from the region isn't scared of a little cool weather! We have been saying, If Tasmania can do it, so can we!! Food doesn't stop growing, people don't stop making, people don't stop selling!

For a lot of our stallholders, this is their only form of income. That is huge to think about. For some, it is their passion project, which means they already work full time on top of their weekends at the market and making all their produce. And for farmers.... well it is already a 24/7 job so why not add in a market just to top it all off!

So this winter, throw on your wool socks, throw on a couple more layers and throw on a beanie. We will be here all year round and we hope you will be too!!!

GEELONG CITY NIGHT MARKET IS COMING on the 19th of June for the launch of Tastes of Greater Geelong.
We have to say thank you to all those restaurants who have taken a chance and are coming to the market for the first time but we are so excited to showcase all of you in one spot on Little Malop St. Let's not forget our old faithfuls too!!
Get ready and get hungry and thirsty for the 19th of June. we will have fires and smores and roasting marshmallows.

We have such an exciting weekend ahead!

Guess what? we are bring, with the German Club of Geelong - A day of German culture!! What does that mean? Well it means food! It means dancing, it means kids activities and it means...well.. food of course. Think all the wursts! Currywurst Brattwurst, Weisswurst - you will be dancing around with the joys of it all and let's hope we bring a little German summer to Little Malop St!

Don't forget also our masterclass at 11am with Simon Toohey who is cooking a very not so German Home style Spaghetti Bolognese

and our amazing musicians and at out music stand.

We can't wait to have you this weekend and get ready for some fun!

Bloody love these two! We get the joys of having them come to the market every few weeks with their wonderful tofu, tofu salads and wonderful smiles.

have some of the best tofu we have tasted. The care, the time and the love they put into making this wonderful product is the reason why they sell out every time. They will be at the market this weekend and you HAVE to go meet them, try their tofu and fall in love with their food like we have.

It is an honour to have these two in the region selling their tofu. And I am sure that every person who has tried and loved it will join us in thanking them for their culture, their skill and bringing it to the region.

You better believe this line up! 30th of May, our reconciliation week market as we are 'All In' .

But get ready for all your tasty food, fresh produce, pastry, and art world needs. We have it all and we are proud to be part of it.

Starting at 9am we also have some big names coming to the market - will be bring some amazing MasterChef quality food which we are so lucky to have.

This week from the 27th of May to the 3rd of June is National Reconciliation week we will have some amazing first nations artists coming to the market to sell some beautiful art, sculptures and products.

We are also excited to welcome the wonderful and talented to the stage. A close friend to the market we are excited to have him cook up a storm! Be sure to check the website to find out more on what he's cooking.

Finally - check out the music stage with the oh so talented and playing great tunes all day long.

A quick mention too the team will be hosting the community stall this week to talk about their wonderful animal rescue space and what people can do to help so be sure to go see them when you arrive!

These two absolute champions of food are at Geelong City Market every week and we damn love it! XO Project Kitchen (Sarah and Sam) sell some of the best convenience meal curry's you can get. These are pretty much home made, small batch and made with so much care.

We pormise you will love them. Oh and while you are there, do yourself a favoure and buy a bag of their peanuts. I have it on good authority to say - you will be back for more... and more... and more.

Big ups to our friends Sam and Sarah, we love having you at the market and we love what you sell!

Week to week we see the market evolve, shift, change and mould into what it is. Will it ever be the same? Probably not...

Week to week we see the market evolve, shift, change and mould into what it is. Will it ever be the same? Probably not. But that is what keeps it exciting. We get to dive deep into different peoples produce and learn and live something different every week.

This week we have all our regulars and then some - we now have supplying us with their amazing pantry staples from flours to grains to ready to make pasta and rice dishes along with supplying all your local proteins. So please come on down and lets because there is nothing better than having a coffee, a pastry and then stocking up on your weekly shop and goodies before putting those feet up or heading to the game just over the hill to cheer on the Cats!
