Neil's Meats Neil’s Meats started in the original Prahran Market nearly 50 years ago. These include gluten free sausages and steak and onion burgers.

Neil is still very involved, personally selecting every animal and overseeing the entire process, until it gets to the store and into the capable hands of our butchers. While this is a very time consuming process, he remains committed to providing only the very best quality products. Once Neil has personally selected the meat and supervised the processing, we then dry age and treat all of the lamb

and beef on-site ourselves. Our beef is dry aged on the bone for 3 - 4 weeks to ensure its tenderness and taste, and our lamb is dry aged for one week. Our pork and bacon is also smoked on-site, and we’re one of the only Melbourne butchers to have a smoking oven in store. As one of Melbourne’s top butchers, and one of the only suppliers of Paramount Veal and Victorian Veal Company products, we can be relied on to always give you the best. We not only have a great range of pork, beef, lamb and veal, we also have a range of BBQ products. And we have ready-to-go meals and sauces, including meatballs, stocks and bolognaise sauce. These are all made on-site by our talented Italian butchers and contain all natural ingredients.
