He bought his first butchery at Cross Roads Berowra Heights in 1990.
3 years later he left Berowra Heights and bought Mt Kuring-gai Village Butchery. Graham has succeeded in business as a result of hard work , giving excellent service ,having integrity and ethics. Selling only the freshest quality country meat. Graham has lived in the area for most of his life , attending Berowra public & Asqui
th boys high . Before children and owning a business Graham was very involved with Rugby League, as a kid and adult he played for Asquith, Pennant Hills and Hornsby. Graham is a life member at North Sydney League’s Club having been involved for many many years at Junior Level, he is also a life member of Hornsby Junior Rugby League being a President for 10 years as well as a player and coach . Unfortunately a few years after Graham stood down from his role as President, the Hornsby Rugby League Club folded never to return, such a shame as it was the oldest club on the North Shore. Many happy memories were made, we met and made life long friends. Di worked with Graham at the Crossroads butchery Berowra Heights until their first child was born, returning shortly after to work part time in the family business. After moving to the present butchery Di continued working in the shop & raising their 3 children. In 1999 Di took over all the administration for the business as well as starting a new career as a Childcare Educator + working part time in the business. In 2011 Di left childcare to work full time in the family business. In 2016 Di decided to have another career change and started studying Aged care (Cert 3 and Cert 1V) and (Cert 3 and Cert 1V) in Disabilty, finally finishing study and work placement January 2019. Di started a new and rewarding job working in the Disability sector ( loving every minute of it) Plus still working with Graham when needed. Graham & Di became first time Grandparents on the 18th September 2019 to a beautiful baby boy named Noah. A little bit about Mark.....( our much loved butcher)
Mark is truly a local ,growing up in Berowra , attending the Catholic Primary school and St Leo’s College . Mark also played rugby league with Berowra, Pennant Hills and finishing at Hornsby. Mark has three children, 2 boys and a girl and he still lives locally, as we do. Mt Kuring-Gai Village Butchery is truly a family Business, who care about their customers.
