What a pleasure to return to Methodist Ladies' College .

Set amongst beautiful grounds and thoughtfully designed learning spaces, we spent the morning with students whose curiosity, enthusiasm and thoughtful questions made every session a delight.

One of the highlights was reconnecting with students we first met during our visit last year. Those Pre-Primaries have certainly grown into confident big kids, and it was wonderful to build on their existing knowledge and extend their understanding of bees, pollination and sustainability.

Thank you to the staff and students for making us feel so welcome. We love seeing learning continue long after an incursion ends and watching young minds grow along the way. 🐝🚜❀️

One of my favourite schools, Seaview Community Kindy, has created a reel that I just had to share!

What I love most is seeing how the wonderful Ms Amy has extended the children's learning long after our visit. From their play based apiary setup to the fabulous "Pollen Party" glitter station, this is inquiry learning and play based education at its best.

When children can revisit concepts through imaginative play, sensory experiences and hands on exploration, that's where the real magic happens.

This is exactly why we love working with early childhood educators. The learning doesn't stop when we leave. Seeing children continue to explore, question, create and connect with their learning is the greatest compliment we could receive.

Thank you, Ms Amy and the team at Seaview Community Kindy, for creating such a rich learning environment and for inspiring the next generation of bee champions. πŸπŸ’›

🐝 Today we had the pleasure of visiting the Kindy students at Christchurch Grammar School

This school holds a very special place in our hearts πŸ’› Christchurch Grammar was the very first school Messines Bee Farm ever delivered an incursion to, so it was wonderful to be back again today for our fourth visit.

There is nothing better than watching young learners explore the amazing world of bees 🌼 ask thoughtful questions and discover just how important pollinators are to our environment 🌏

Seeing schools continue to welcome us back year after year means so much to us. We are grateful to be part of so many students' learning journeys and love seeing their curiosity grow with every visit.

A big thank you to the staff and students at CCGS for another fantastic day of learning, discovery and bee-filled fun 🍯

We can't wait to see you again 🐝

Such a beautiful morning at Community Kindy 🌿🐝

I always love visiting spaces where play based learning is so thoughtfully and intentionally created. The learning stations and provocative play set ups were absolutely beautiful, inviting curiosity, creativity, problem solving and conversation in such a natural way.

It’s always inspiring seeing educators create environments where children can explore, wonder and learn through hands on experiences. Thank you for having us as part of your learning community πŸ’›

From classrooms to residential care communities, this latest road trip down south was filled with curiosity, connection, learning, and plenty of buzz πŸπŸ’›

There’s something pretty special about watching people of all ages light up as they discover the world of bees through hands-on, real-life experiences.

From sustainability conversations to shared laughs and honey tastings, every stop reminded us why we love what we do.

Caught this little robot called Honey rolling through the hospital today and I had to laugh… even the robots are following the bee theme now πŸπŸ€–

Between teaching about pollinators, sustainability and the incredible way bees work together as a community, it’s starting to feel like bee life is everywhere I go.

Although to be fair… bees were mastering teamwork, communication and efficiency long before AI arrived.

Nature still does it best.
