Another great find at The Sydney Good Food and Wine show last week was the best chocolate ever. Yes ever.

Huge chicken delivery just arrived ( not real ones, although I would love some free ranging hens in the backyard). So much on the go here today in the kitchen....veal osso buco, atlantic salmon fishcakes, moroccan chicken, chicken schnitzels, chicken & veg curry and roasted pumpkin, leek and thyme tomato pizzas. Are you hungry yet?

Just got home from the Sydney Good Food and Wine Show. Bought some delicious Apple Cider.....brand is Elk, it's a Swedish product new to the market. Also some divine Ayurvedic Organic Herbal Tea....am sipping away as I write. Heaps of fab Gluten Free goodies. It is such a growing market. More and more available every day...can't wait to try the Crumpets for breakfast tomorrow morning. A highlight was the Maggie Beer stand....her products are so beautiful. They are all about the flavour and using seasonal ingredients. Love.

An old winter favourite is back on the menu.....Lamb Shepherds Pie.....yummo.

Plus a new addition that is packed full of all things healthy.....Chicken and Lentil Bolognaise. Slow cooked so that the lentils melt into the sauce. Your kids won't even know they're there.....great hidden protein and fibre.

Oh and more meatballs.......meatballs, meatballs, meatballs. Very popular this week. They always are really. Am thinking of bottling and selling my napoletana sauce. It's great for a simple pasta or for a tomato paste on home made pizzas.

Pea and Ham Soup simmering on the stove. Loaded up with fresh thyme. Great flavours for a windy & wintery day.
Vegetarian Lasagnas in the oven (slow roasted eggplant, herbed tomato and pumpkin).....yummo!
The Ice Cream maker is churning away.... strawberry and vanilla today...the smell of the fresh pureed strawberries is amazing.

Hedgehog is definitely my favourite slice....it's the flavour combo of the chocolate, coconut and biscuit that marry together so well! It's just too good.
