This Farm Fresh Friday I am winding back the clock to June 12th 2024 when I started one plot at the Glasshouse farm. It was just long grass and weeds and with the help from Edwin and Pimsorganics they got me started to what is now something amazing.
One plot has grown to many and along the way lots of mistakes and still making them but I’m learning and also growing amazing produce.
The support for what I am doing has taken me by surprise and I can’t seem to grow enough for the demand.
Demand is so high I sell out with a couple hours, I am working on changing this by planting more.
But what a difference 2 years makes just plugging along by myself achieving goals and doing what I love.

Good afternoon everyone,

With so many new followers and people interested in my little veggie venture I’m getting lots of messages and comments about visiting the farm.
My produce is pre order only with order collection on a Friday morning at the farm shed. The farm isnt open to the public and it isnt pick your own produce. I don’t operate a shop, you need to pre order produce from the pinned post that has the weekly availability.
All produce with the exception of the Strawberries I grow so restocking takes time to grow.
I do take pride in what I grow and you get nothing but the best spray free fresh picked produce.

A quick update on our spuds.
These posts always get people talking, you either support and like what I am trying or hate it and let me know 😂.
But I’m here giving it ago and I’m learning along the way. Sharing what I am doing so you can see and learn is important to me as well. So here I’ve used gypsum to add calcium to the soil and Frass and Worm casting liquid solution to feed the microbes in the soil to build a healthy soil to grow strong crops to compete with the nut grass. Also I’ve abandoned the idea of a second hilling for the potatoes as it will awaken more nut grass to grow and thrive. So keep posted on how this all works and for the other ideas I have going that so many of you suggested.

A massive thank you to John and Mel from the Sunshine.Seedling.Co for another batch of seedlings to help me get a better range and larger quantities of the best spray free produce.
This time we have a mix of different Kales, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Red Oak Leaf Lettuce, a mix of different Mustard greens, baby Spinach and more Onions.
You to can purchase seedlings from Sunshine Seedling Co at the Yandina and Caboolture markets.

To place an order comment on this post or send a message with what you would like. I will confirm and send bank transfer information and a pick up address. If delivery is required that is an $8 fee to Beerwah, Glasshouse, Woodford and Kilcoy areas
Tax receipt can be issued if requested.
Orders need to be placed before midday Thursday and payment by Thursday night to make the Friday morning fresh pick list.
