🍂 **Weekend Roast Veggies Done Right** 🍂

If you're planning a roast this cold weekend, we've got the perfect side dish using some of this week's market specials - pumpkin, potatoes, sweet potato, onions and apples.

And before you ask... Yes, apples belong in roast vegetables. Trust us on this one! 🍎 They caramelise beautifully in the oven and add a subtle sweetness that works perfectly with the pumpkin, potatoes and rosemary.

**Roast Vegetable Tray Bake**

🥔 5 potatoes, peeled and cut
🎃 1kg pumpkin, cut into wedges
🍎 2 apples, quartered
🧅 2 onions, cut into wedges
🧄 1 head garlic, halved
🌿 3 sprigs rosemary
🌿 1 tsp lemon thyme leaves
🫒 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
🧂 1 tsp salt

**Method**

1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
2. Toss everything together except the lemon thyme.
3. Place potatoes in a large roasting tray and roast for 15 minutes.
4. Add the remaining vegetables and roast for a further 40 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and, while still hot, toss through the lemon thyme.

Simple, hearty and packed with flavour — perfect alongside your favourite roast meat or enjoyed on its own.

To help us continue delivering great value and keep our supermarket strong for the future, we’ll be transitioning our service deli to a brand-new grab-and-go format.

The good news? You’ll still be able to enjoy all your deli favourites - from fresh meals and salads to sliced meats, cheeses and more - now with even more convenience, speed and flexibility.

Over the next week or two, you’ll start to see the deli gradually transition into the new format as we roll out the updated range and displays.

We truly believe this new direction will allow us to offer:
