I can't express my gratitude to Almighty God and my parents for their prayers and love, I have been able to come here today and I want to follow the right path in life, leaving behind all the hard work and lies. I love all my friends and well-wishers who have helped me come here from the bottom of my heart. I pray to God for those who can't make it this year so that they can prepare better for the future and move forward in life. ১১০ বছরেরও বেশি সময় ধরে চলে আসা এই বলি খেলা কেবল একটি প্রতিযোগিতা নয়, এটি আমাদের বীরত্বের প্রতীক। ১৯০৯ সালে ব্রিটিশবিরোধী আন্দোলনে যুবকদের উদ্বুদ্ধ করতে আব্দুল জব্বার সওদাগর যে লড়াইয়ের সূচনা করেছিলেন, তা আজ চট্টগ্রামের লালদিঘি ময়দানের প্রাণস্পন্দন। বালুর মাঠে পেশির শক্তি আর কৌশলের এই মহাযুদ্ধ দেখতে দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে ছুটে আসেন হাজারো মানুষ।
মাটির টান আর শেকড়ের এই উৎসব আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয় বাঙালির অদম্য সাহসের কথা। ঐতিহ্যবাহী এই মেলা আর বলি খেলার আমেজ ধরে রাখতেই আজকের এই বিশেষ ভিডিও।
