Rainfall on Different Planets

On Earth, rain means water, but on other planets, things are quite different. Due to unique atmospheric conditions and chemical compositions, rain on different planets takes various forms. Let’s explore some fascinating examples—

1. Venus

Venus experiences rain made of sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄). However, due to its extreme temperature, this rain evaporates before reaching the surface.

2. Mars

Mars doesn’t have liquid water rain in its current atmosphere, but evidence suggests that water once flowed on its surface. Today, dust storms and thin carbon dioxide clouds dominate the planet.

3. Saturn & Jupiter

These gas giants experience helium and liquid hydrogen rain. Studies suggest that under extreme pressure, carbon atoms compress into diamond rain, which then falls deep into the planet.

4. Titan (Saturn’s Moon)

Titan experiences methane (CH₄) and ethane (C₂H₆) rain. It is the only celestial body besides Earth with lakes and rivers, but they are made of liquid methane instead of water.

5. Neptune & Uranus

These planets experience hydrocarbon rain, and under extreme pressure, carbon atoms might form diamonds, creating diamond rain deep inside the atmosphere.

In summary, Venus has sulfuric acid rain, Jupiter and Saturn might have diamond rain, Titan experiences methane rain, and Neptune & Uranus could have hydrocarbon rain. This unique cosmic phenomenon highlights the incredible diversity of our universe.

The Situation:

Rare flower in the world 'Brahma Kamal'

It is difficult to find someone who does not love flowers. There are about 390,000 species of plants in the world. About 3 lakh 69 thousand 400 species give flowers. And different kinds of flowers can be found in different countries.

Each flower has its own characteristics. One such strange flower is 'Brahma Kamal'. It is called the king of Himalayan flowers. This flower blooms at an altitude of 4500 meters or above. But the one who will see the scene of this flower blooming will become the luckiest person in the world. Brahmakamal is one of the rarest flowers in the world.

Surprisingly, such folklore has been associated with this flower for years. The petals of this beautiful white flower are in full bloom after sunset. It takes about 2 hours to boil. Blooms for about 1 hour. Then it closes the petals again.

Sometime between July and September when the sun slowly sinks in the lap of the Himalayas, this brahmacmal blooms. Seeing this sight with one's own eyes is considered to be lucky. This flower is found in some remote areas of Uttarakhand, India. This flower blooms only once a year. Up to 8 inches in circumference in just 2 hours. Ayurveda and Tibetan medicine mention the extensive use of this flower. It is claimed that this flower heals wounds in a few moments.
