পটুয়াখালী বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (পবিপ্রবি) দেশীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক র‍্যাংকিংয়ে অবস্থান উন্নয়নের লক্ষ্যে প্রথমবারের মতো একটি বিশেষ কমিটি গঠন করা হয়েছে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রশাসনের উদ্যোগে গঠিত এ কমিটি বৈশ্বিক প্রতিযোগিতায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অবস্থান সুদৃঢ় করা, গবেষণার মান বৃদ্ধি এবং আন্তর্জাতিক মানদণ্ডে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধির জন্য কাজ করবে।
