Now that's a Pork Chop 🐷

Stunning pasture raised Yorkshire pork raised the right way by our farmers in Naniamo,BC are in the fresh case this week. We take these beautiful loins and age them 14 days to firm up the skin and let the natural enzymes begin to tenderize the meat for the perfect bit. This is pork like you've never had before!!

Let the games begin!!

Erik is off to Kamloops this weekend to compete in the 3rd annual British Columbia Best Butcher Competition hosted 🔪

18 of BCs best go head to head in three 45 min rounds where the top three scores move on to the finals. It's a stiff competition full of so much talent and it brings a lot of amazing attention to this industry! 🤘🏻

The first round begins at 10am where Erik is on table #1. Tune into the Instagram page to follow along with the live stream and updates !

Working hard or hardly working. 🔪

Prepping up for a busy long weekend ahead. Fresh sausage flavors hit the case today which includes a fan favorite Korean BBQ. We've also got fresh burger patties, marbled steaks, fatty pork chops and more !!!

NEW PRODUCTS ALERT ⚠️

We would like to introduce a totally BRUTAL line up of incredible fermented products to the Millers Meatctaft offerings. After months of following and pondering the logistics of how to get these here, we finally have a few of the many offerings available to our Bowen patrons.

is a small batch fermentation business run by the talented out of Kelowna, BC. He has spent years in the industry and two years now creating a variety of fermented products using local ingredients, salt and a whole lot of time all while keeping up his full-time butcher position .

Each one of these jars is packed with a freshness and punch that you won't find on any grocery store shelf.
