What a year for the Incredible Farmers Markets in Trail, Fruitvale, and Rossland! 🌱
In 2025, our regional market family:
☑️Hosted 48 markets, 21 being special events (holiday, night, and themed markets)
☑️Welcomed 60,125 guests into our market spaces
☑️Supported 305 unique vendors through the season
☑️Celebrated 25 volunteers who kept things running smoothly
☑️Featured 19 musicians, performers, family activities, and speakers
☑️Supported over 275 households through the BC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program, helping families access fresh, local produce with the support of our incredible community partners.
☑️Showcased 41 amazing teen chefs from across the region who rose to the cooking challenges of the Kootenay Teen Chef Club. Made possible through collaboration with the Trail & District Chamber of Commerce and the Kootenay Teen Chef Club.
Every visit, every dollar spent, every song played, and every volunteer hour helped strengthen local food security, support small farms and makers, and build a vibrant, resilient community. 🧡
