✨MEET THE MAKERS✨

✂️Cuccocollage is a scavenger of treasures by nature. They love to archive, save, and repurpose. Their background is in video production but I’ve always been an avid film photographer and reader. Somehow all of these attributes collided in the form of collage in 2020 and they’ve been making ever since. Their art is inspired by human emotions, and experiences, that repeat across decades.

🌎They try not to waste anything, all of their collages create scraps, and they save as much as they can and use them in cards, paintings, or magnets. They mainly sell originals (one of a kind), they don’t rely on prints or copies outside of a few digital collages that are made using scans from the physical material.

👽Jubilee’s Intergalactic Pet Rescue is full of colourful & quirky alien stuffies waiting to be adopted.

🌎Her favourite eco friendly practice is buying old clothes & pillows from thrift stores & turning them into something new.

📿Beautiful Raven creates cozy knitwear and traditional Indigenous beadwork that honors culture, skill, and storytelling. They thrift beads and yarn to use in their work.

🌎Kings Rings favourite eco-friendly practice is upcycling funky spoons into rings for anyone!

🧵Layered Impressions is a small embroidery business creating nature inspired designs rooted in thoughtful, intentional making and low waste production. She works in small batches and carefully considers each piece from start to finish, with a focus on quality, detail, and sustainability.

🌎Her work often incorporates thrifted and reclaimed fabrics into appliqué designs, giving existing materials new life and helping reduce textile waste while adding depth and character to each piece.

🧶Fixation Fibre & Function is a Calgary-based handmade business where I create one-of-a-kind bags, accessories, and small-batch hand-dyed yarns. Many of my products incorporate upcycled clothing and reclaimed textiles, giving beautiful materials a second life. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to be both functional and unique.

🌎Their favourite eco-friendly practice is upcycling clothing and textiles into new bags and accessories. I also use paper-based packaging whenever possible and repurpose materials for my market displays to reduce waste and make the most of what already exists.
