Spryfield Farmers Market The Spryfield Farmers Market is a thriving community gathering space that celebrates connections. We're open Sundays, 12-3pm, at 205 Herring Cove Road.

We launched the Spryfield & District Community Market on 15 May 2016. Our vendors offer fresh foods, fish (as available) and local crafts, made right here in our communities. Our farmers gather from 4 counties, to bring you Nova Scotia's best produce and directly from their farms to you. If you have questions, don't hesitate to get in touch. We monitor messages through the week.

The Spryfield Farmers Market Society is holding its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, May 31 at 2:00 pm via Zoom.

The AGM is how we, as a society, take stock of the year, review our finances, and make decisions together about the organization's direction. If you've vended or volunteered with us this season, you're a member — and your attendance matters. Quorum requires 8 members to be present, so showing up is a real contribution.

The agenda will cover:
— Minutes from the previous AGM
— Directors' annual report
— Financial report
— Appointment of auditors
— Election of directors

We are part of something pretty exciting this season.

The Farmers' Markets of Nova Scotia is running a 50/50 raffle — and when you buy a ticket and choose Spryfield Farmers' Market in the "In Support Of" field, a share of the proceeds comes back to us.

The current jackpot is over $2,500. The winner takes half. The other half supports farmers' markets across Nova Scotia, including ours.

Tickets start at $5. You need to be a Nova Scotia resident and 19 or older to participate.
