Employee Recipes
Pat's Famous Grill Cheese:
Sourdough bread
Bacon strips (cooked)
slivered sweet onion caramelized in bacon drippings
3 cheeses (savory, cheddar, mozza)
thinly sliced Granny Smith apple (and some on the side)

Butter on the outside of the bread so they brown up nicely in the frying pan)

ooohhh look at the Scene Points we have this week! Not to mention the sweet treats - by one get one (the brownies are fantastic by the way), and watermelon for $6.99. I can tell you that these are not the tiny ones that are smaller than a basketball, these are huge!

Off topic but I thought I would share this magical moment. As we all know, those of us that get to sit and watch the hummingbird antics around the feeders, we see how aggressive they are at play. These two little guys were doing just that....playing aggressively when they had the misfortune of slamming into an old milk can. One was completely knocked unconscious and the other had ten bells knocked out of him. If you can imagine the tiniest stars and birds circling around his head, Im sure that would be what he saw as well. I thought one was dead so I cautiously picked the other one up (he climbed onto my finger willingly) and brought him into the shade. The one that was out cold suddenly woke up so I let him climb on my finger so he too could be brought into the shade. They were hand fed some sugar water, allowed to rest, and when they were ready, they flew off. Honestly, I feel so blessed that I was able to be there for them. They are so tiny and vulnerable looking but I am willing to bet, they are tougher than I will ever be.
