TP Foods is looking for a motivated Baker/Cook to help expand our prepared food and bakery offerings. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys creating quality products, and wants to play an active role in building a strong local food destination.

Responsibilities:

🥖 Baking breads, buns, desserts, and other baked goods
🍲 Preparing hot meals, soups, grab-and-go items, and daily specials
📝 Assisting with menu and product development
🛒 Helping build and grow our customer base through quality products and consistency
🧼 Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
📦 Managing production and inventory needs

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Reliable and self-motivated
✔ Experience in baking, cooking, or food production is an asset
✔ Creative and willing to try new ideas
✔ Able to work independently and take initiative

We’re always looking for new and unique products to bring into TP Foods, and we’ve been exploring the possibility of bringing in Yak meat!

Yak is known for being a lean, high-protein red meat with a rich flavour that’s often compared to beef, but with less fat and cholesterol.

Before we move forward, we’d love to hear from you:

Well, this was supposed to be a nice product photo… but we were hungry. 😂

By the time I remembered to take a picture, supper was already underway.

Tonight we had our 6 oz Sirloin Steaks (2-pack for $18.99), and they definitely didn’t disappoint. Pat isn’t a steak fan, so he tried our Chicken Burgers ($8.00) instead.

The verdict? Neither lasted very long.

Both are in stock at TP Foods if you’re looking for an easy supper idea! 🥩🍔 ** **PLEASE NOTE** products are frozen.

Lately it feels like we’re so busy that by the time we realize we’re hungry, we’re already past the point of wanting to cook.

While I was in the store, I grabbed a bag of our fully cooked Roasted Chicken Strips because I needed something fast and figured I’d give them a try.

I tossed a few in the air fryer and started debating what to make. A chicken wrap sounded good, but a chicken quesadilla sounded better.

The quesadilla won.

While I was putting everything together, I kept sneaking pieces of chicken because I wanted to see what they tasted like on their own. By the time lunch was ready, I’d already eaten more than a few. 😂

Honestly, I was impressed. Less than 10 minutes in the air fryer, great flavour, and it turned a “what are we going to eat?” kind of day into a really good lunch.

Sometimes the best product reviews aren’t planned. They’re just the result of being hungry enough to try something new.

One thing I learned: don’t overcook them. They’re already fully cooked, and a few extra minutes will dry them out.

Now I’m curious—would you have picked the wrap or the quesadilla?
