We're shaking off the snow and defrosting as we prepare for another season at the Mabou Farmers' Market. All new and returning vendors, mark your calendars! Vendor applications for the upcoming season will open on our website on Monday, March 30th. All applications must be submitted by the end of the day on Sunday, April 19th. Any applications received after that date will be added to our waiting list and reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A reminder that all vendors who submit an application must read and agree to our Rules and Regulations. Our updated Rules and Regulations for 2026 will be available on our website next week. We can't wait to see you in Mabou this summer!

It looks more like the second picture outside right now more than the first but our adorable 4 pack preserve sets are officially updated on our website thanks to Douglas — and that my friends, feels like a major green grass and red berry win!

We are going full tilt for our LAST market of the season. Come see us at Dalbrae Academy for the Holiday Market from 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday December 14th. I’m working like a mad elf trying to get as much chocolate made as I can for Sunday while Douglas & our amazing neighbour Betty label like the stars they are. Our websites preserve stock has and us being updated and our chocolate inventory is being added this week too.

See you at the market!

Love it when new products work out. These all started with a flower grown at our farm. Then it was pressed and embedded into the bottom of the mould with cocoa butter, then hand painted and filled with deliciousness. These and more of our filled bonbons will be on our online store soon. Exciting right! That’s the good news. The sad news is that we won’t be at this week’s but not to fear, on our return we’ll have lots of wonderful goodies!

Okay, so we didn’t grow this chocolate bar in our field, but all those strawberries that went into making this delicious dark strawberry chocolate bar sure did.

Lots of steps are involved before our jam hits the shelves in our adorable jars with their cute little hats. We grow what we make, and it’s a labour of love. We don’t use chemicals and rely on natural methods, plus people power, at our farm to give us our delicious berries. This year has been tough on all our berries with this season’s drought conditions, but our new strawberries are hanging on. We leave berries on a few crowns in their first year when we have new varieties to taste them. Exciting right?!?
No growing season is ever the same when you make farm-to-table goods, but the result of that jar of Strawberry Jam is always sweet perfection.

So excited to have such amazing photos to share our flower pot chocolate bars with you. These flower pots are solid chocolate made with pumpkin seeds to give them a lovely nutty tone while still being , available in milk or dark chocolate. Farm to table and mage from scratch, sourcing our beans from a call scare farmer just like us.

Inside, there is a layer of a soft chewy caramel, followed by a pumpkin seed gianduja, a softer version of the pumpkin seed chocolate, followed by candied pumpkin seeds, then coated with chocolate, and finally topped with candied edible flowers — because you can’t have a flower pot without flowers!

So beautifully delicious because we are worth it! Beautiful food for beautiful people. They are available at the today from 11 am to 2 pm. See you there!

Thank you Jamie for the beautiful photos!
