Yesterday was a great success for the 5th Annual Merry Mahone Bay Market, a total of $520.10 was raised for We Feed Lunenburg! Thank you to everyone who came out to support local businesses, crafters and makers, and to everyone who contributed to the fundraising efforts for We Feed Lunenburg.

And another thank you to all the vendors for sharing your craft, The Mahone Bay Centre for having us, Mr & Mrs Claus for your jolly visit all the way from the North Pole, and to John and MJ from FM, as well as Miranda Lever for your musical contributions!

Tim and Joan from My Kitchen Table have been busy creating macramé plant hangers, making wooden and crafted décor and other wood items, and ornaments perfect for gifting.

Copy Shop Books, an imprint from Nevermore Press, will have their popular swag and publications, check out their rad offerings!

This year for the 5th Annual Merry Mahone Bay Market funds collected from vendor fees (minus operational expenses) are being donated to We Feed Lunenburg.

Mr and Mrs Claus will be visiting The Mahone Bay Centre 1:30-3:00pm, and shoppers will have the opportunity to meet them and have the moment captured by Basin Family Photography, with 25% of proceeds also going to We Feed Lunenburg.

In addition, there will be hot chocolate available onsite, and we encourage you to donate to We Feed Lunenburg in exchange. Pair your cozy hot chocolate with fresh donuts from coastal cowgirl mini donuts outside!

Additional special guests include Miranda Lever and duo FM who will be performing live music on the stage throughout the day for the 5th Annual Merry Mahone Bay Market this Saturday November 29th 10am-3pm at the Mahone Bay Centre gym.

Miranda Lever will be performing some Christmas songs as well as some originals, her music is that of talent and dedication.

FM is a POPy, jazzy, chill-ax and ambient duo consisting of MJ Martino on guitar/loops and John Frechette on hand percussion. FM will play 4 sets during the market.
