As fall crept in and the air turned crisp, I knew it was time for another alpine escape — thermos packed with the Kutenai Spicy Chai, my mountain‑side tradition. The peaks were calling, and my body was craving that beautiful view to sip my favourite chai. This time, I felt it was right to bring a friend along and share the ritual. We set off into the mountains at 8:30 am, excitement buzzing, the cool alpine air nipping at our cheeks. Where would the chai take us? What wild, wonderful things would we see? The mountains did not disappoint — and neither did the Spicy Chai. As temperatures dropped into snow‑kissed cold, that warm, fiery chai was the perfect choice. A little heat in a world of frost. A little comfort in the rugged wild. A tradition always worth sharing.

Today I had the privilege of sharing a Kutenai Chai tasting demo at Cornucopia, the family‑owned grocery store at the heart of Kaslo, BC. Cornucopia isn’t just a store — it feels like home. The staff are kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, and knowing they now carry our Kutenai Chai fills me with joy. I felt a real sense of community today. Meeting and chatting with the staff and customers meant so much. Thank you, Cornucopia, and thank you to everyone who took a moment to taste our handcrafted chai. Your smiles make it all worth it.
