🚸 Important Safety Message Near Webster School

Speed data collected near Webster School shows 70–90% of drivers exceeding the 30 km/h school-zone limit. The roads around the school are busy connector routes with consistently high traffic volumes.
Across Canada, more than 300 pedestrians lose their lives each year in vehicle collisions, with winter darkness and road conditions being major contributing factors.
With darker, icy months now upon us, slowing down and staying alert is critical. Please help keep students safe by reducing your speed during school arrival and dismissal times.

Holy moly, everyone ! What a jam-packed day!

We had an absolutely REMARKABLE turnout !!! HUGE thank you to our hard-working volunteers. Some of whom crushed 30+ HOURS of work in the last two days!!

SHOUT OUTS & THANK YOUS:
Rossland Lumber generously donated the lumber for our first ever Zucchini Track!

Seven Summits Coffee Company provided our volunteers and judges with some MUCH needed AM coffee !

Rossland Thrift shop for collecting amazing toys for our fish pond.

The Rossland Girl Guides and their parents, the Rossland Scouts, our talented entertainment (Trish Jamieson & The Golden City Fiddlers), our wonderful sound guy Chuck, the Air Band organizers, competitors and judges!

Some TALENTED vendors and information booths, and last but not least, the Rossland City Works Crew!

I'm looking forward to making a fun reel after I put up my feet for several hours !
