Fresh locally sourced, naturally raised turkeys are available for pre-order!

We continue to work with the same farmer and are happy to be able to continue to offer a Thanksgiving favourite to the region. Turkeys are $5.99/lb and we also have limited Hams available with price varying dependent on boneless or bone-in.

If you are new to Lake Land Meats but want to give a fresh naturally raised turkey a try, head over to www.lakelandmeats.com and select Thanksgiving Holiday Orders.

1. Choose your pick up date
(Thursday Oct 8 through Oct 10th while timeslots last)
2. Select your preferred turkey size
3. Pay a $25 deposit per item to reserve
4. When your turkey arrives we weigh it and send you the confirmation of balance owing
5. Pick up and enjoy!

The seasons are turning and especially on a rainy day like today I can't help but think of the fall season and shifting to soups, stews and braised meats.

We have our chicken soup available now and our seasonal heirloom tomato soup using our homegrown tomatoes coming this week in very limited quantities!

I know many of you are enjoying these small batch soups, feel free to message and secure yours!

Well, I certainly don't want to wish summer away but we are officially in the "ber" months and though I love the summer, I equally love this time of year!

We have had a few inquiries about fresh turkeys already, so we thought we would share that YES we will have fresh turkeys once again this year!

We are just getting things set up and will be opening pre-orders shortly.

If you aren't already on our email list, head on over to the website to be the first to hear when pre-orders open. We work with an amazing local farm and get a limited quantity, so we don't want you to miss out!

We’re a meat shop. But we also just really love good food & drink.

And this mocktail? Really, really good.

Locally made, made with real ingredients, and absolutely worth having as a refreshing beverage. Pause the video and check out the ingredients!

We try to ensure we have a drink together every evening on the patio and soak up every last bit of the summer. (a little tradition that started during our travels in South Africa) This is one of our favs to enjoy!

Extended Hours AND 30% off THE Pork Sausages.

Steve and I are excited for the long weekend!

We know how busy it can get and we are able to extend our hours this Thursday, Friday & Saturday until 6pm.

Also, there was a recipe mix up when our Sausages were made and when we tried the different formula they tasted good! SO, 30% off 'The' Pork Sausages - same great quality, local, antibiotic free pork.

We are also fully stocked on our cheeses, great for snacking over the weekend. Le douanier, Handeck, Wildwood, Bleu Benedictin and Le Pizy.

What a day! ❤️

Last Saturday was one we won’t forget. Seeing so many familiar faces and welcoming new ones through our doors is exactly what makes this little shop so special.

Our sample bags sold out (if you grabbed one, we’d love to hear what your favourite item was!), and we had so much fun sharing some of the products we love, our beef sausages, incredible award-winning Ontario cheese, and, drum roll please… our brand new mocktails!

You loved the mocktails so much that we ran out faster than expected. We were incredibly grateful that Casa Piñata was able to make a delivery the very same day so everyone had a chance to enjoy one!

Thank you for spending your Saturday with us, trying something new, and continuing to support good food and local producers. It means more to us than you know.
