Mancha is a premium grade exhibiting a rich red colour and beautiful flavour. Coupe saffron is the very best Spanish saffron. It has been selected by a Spanish governing body as the finest bright-red saffron with the most intense flavour and aroma. The Silk Road Spice Merchant is looking for a reliable, professional person to fill a permanent, part-time, retail position between our two Calgary Farmers' Market booths: one is in North-West Calgary and the other is just off Blackfoot Trail in the South-East.

The position is for Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am - 2:30pm. It is for 12+ hours per week with potential increases over Christmas and busy holidays.

Please note that training will take place at our retail location on 9th Avenue in Inglewood.

You will:
- learn all about our spices and blends (don't worry — we'll train you)
- participate in general booth maintenance such as restocking products, cleaning, counting inventory, etc.
- provide stellar customer service by chatting with customers about food, talking about our products, making recommendations, and processing sales

You have:
- exceptional attention to detail and a positive attitude
- a good knowledge of food and cooking with a passion for furthering that knowledge
- the capacity to work unsupervised and take responsibility for your productivity

You get:
