It's been a whirlwind here at the homestead! We've been busy sending our beloved chickens off to their new families, helping them start their own chicken adventures. The busiest time on the homestead! It's hatching season and we help so many families with to build their own flock qnd be self sustain!

This special little one day old chicken - a-Blue laced red Wyandotte was born with a slipped tendorn; our first experience with this. We have to set him in the jar so its leg is hanging and hope its tendor will 'harden' and it will be able to stand! We are hand feeding and keeping close monitor.
