Oooopsy!

I may have misjudged my Cinnamon Basil harvest. Soooo… no cake this week, and no Cinnamon Basil shortbread cookies either.

Shout out to all the bikers in town this weekend with the motorcycle rally. Welcome!

I hope you’re enjoying the beautiful scenery, small towns, and seascapes of Southwestern Nova Scotia.

The Yarmouth Farmers Community Market is open Saturday, 9-1, and it’s a must-see.

There’s live music, vendors outside, in the barn, and the Galleria. Be sure to see it all!

Our market has the best crepes in Southwestern Nova Scotia, German bakers, French bakers, home bakers, homemade ethnic food, a chocolatier, and a 6-foot table of beach-themed souvenirs that easily tuck into a saddlebag. Plus So.Much.More.

This GF Triple Citrus was VERY well-received at an 80th birthday celebration. And I quote, “The curd was perfect, cake was moist, frosting great.”

Did you know that I take custom orders for regular and gf cakes and cupcakes? I’m known for unique flavours, just the right amount of sweet, and this kind of fancy.

What a lovely market day. I sold out, and I’m so grateful to everyone who stopped by to chat, sample, and take home a little sweetness.

I’d say this week’s flavours were a hit, so Cherry Cardamom, Brown Sugar Peach, and Coconut Lime will be making a return next Saturday. And I think it’s about time I brought along a gluten-free cake, too. 😊

I completely missed Flavour Reveal Wednesday this week... and I have an excellent excuse.

Drawers, folks. Drawers. 😍

And countertops!

I’m not even kidding—it took me five minutes to find the cutlery the other day before I remembered... oh right... it’s in a drawer now. 😂

Everything is finally in one room, and I may or may not be opening random drawers just because I can. It’s oddly satisfying.

(Also... I didn’t actually know what I was baking until it was time to start baking. Minor detail.)
