Today, as we celebrate Easter a season of renewal, hope, and new beginnings, I cannot ignore the painful realities some of our children are facing.
A child should never know fear in the place of innocence. A child should never carry trauma where there should be laughter. Yet, stories like this remind us that we are failing where it matters most.

R**e is not just a crime it is a deep wound on our humanity. And when it touches children, it becomes even more devastating.

We must stop placing the burden on girls to protect themselves and begin the urgent work of raising boys who understand respect, consent, and self-control. Prevention starts with what we teach, what we tolerate, and what we choose to challenge.

Let this Easter not only be about celebration, but about reflection. Let it mark a turning point where we commit to protecting the innocent and raising a generation that chooses respect over violence.

Happy Easter, but may it also be a call to do better.

What is this bamenda turning into ooo?😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Hmm wonder shall never end Oh God! I can't believe this, so much tears in my eyes. Nkwen, Bambui need prayers! A girl called Sandrine Binyuy a student of U.BA left her house and was going for a Youth Program at her Church at about 3pm. She took a Taxi and the Taxi man, whose name we later got as Ambe Ivo On their way to the church the Taxi man took a different road, Sandrine asked why? He said he was running away from the police men at mile 3 Nkwen . She started feeling uncomfortable but kept quiet and was just praying, knowing the world we are living in is filled with ev!l. The man continued and took a different turn again, at this point, she begged him to drop her, instead he(driver) increased the speed. The man headed for a nearby bush, dropped her, pretended he was urin@ting and then dropped a 5000frs note. He then told Sandrine she dropped her money, she said no, it wasn't her. But he insisted and started f0rcing her to pick the money. Sandrine cr!ed out! Luckily, a man who was in the nearby bush heard, hurried to the scene, seeing the manner at which he was rough handling the lady, w@ded in and be@t up the man and insisted that he picks his money back but the man refused, still claiming the money belongs to Sandrine. As God would have it, 10 other hefty men who were traveling on the same road, observed the scene and parked their bus. They all alighted from the bus and asked questions, hearing what transpired between them(Sandrine and the driver), they asked and forced the taxi driver to pick the money. Immediately the man picked the money, you can't imagine what happened! Enoe just took light and the TV just went off.. So, I could not finish watching the film. Hahahaha una like story?
