How it all began
Ive always been fascinated with animals...specifically dogs.
Having had dogs since birth, their needs and wants came natrually to me...that is, until I got my second rescue, Khoko. Since rescuing her I noticed that everytime she consumed store bought treats she would break out in hives and dry skin. It did not take long for me to realize that something in these treats were causing these issues.
That is when the experiments started to take place. Multiple books, countless talks with vets and a little google-ing helped me understand what is good and what is bad. After a few trial and errors I started seeing a difference in not only Khoko, but in all my pets.
After experimenting with my pets (thanks babies) I realized I had to share the goodness with the rest of the pets. If my homemade treats helped my dog, I was certain it would help others too... not only are pawsome treats healthy and fresh, but they offer various types of minerals and nutrients that other store bought treats could not. Most of all, the treats can be made to suit your pets needs and likes.
