On the back end of a hard hot week topping off at 40+degrees,a semi finals place and a Sunday doing tax returns amongst repeated hydration breaks for animals why not enjoy the lighter side of life. . If anyone is wondering I'm actually just emptying the water system for fresh cold water for the chickens to drink, about every 45mins otherwise the water gets to hot to drink. This was the last time tonight at 8pm

Unbelievable difficulty with the Chickens with this third heat wave I will post some videos shortly. Mean while the other animals need to be checked with the naked eye always for animal husbandry, However for a quick check when animals are spread far and wide tech is gaining valuable time to dedicate to needed areas.

So due to the hot weather I try to provide the chickens with fresh cold water so I drain the pipette system every 1.5 hrs otherwise the water is to warm to drink. Constant ball ache lol.Heat is the main problem for poultry more so than cold
CHICKENS CANT SWEAT so keeping a average core temperature is hard to maintain with extreme temperatures so early in the year. It's going to be a hard summer

Well that went better than expected thanks to Sophie Jones and three little helpers with an average age of 9 waving some very oversized sticks...Quite surprised no sword/stick fighting went on while they patiently waited.

Also on Sunday the sheep escaped however with the help of my faithful companion that luckily listens to nothing I say we got them back...He was very keen but mission successful
