Hi everyone, I’ve been quiet on here recently due to personal reasons regarding family but I just can’t help but share this lovely picture of Annabel who looks so happy with her cake ☺️ have wanted to take part in Cakes for Heroes for a good while and this amazing warrior definitely deserves all the treats in the world. BeKind Kids Club is setting up a new program for young people with learning disabilities, Safe Space is our new programme launching in September to support teenagers and young people with a learning disability aged from 12- 19years of age. This group will provide a safe environment for these young people to build friendships outside of school, boost mental health, expand on their skills to promote independence, be creative and have fun! 😊

We want to end social isolation for teenagers and young people with a learning disability and we want to tackle the growing mental health crisis amongst this group of vulnerable young people.

Safe Space is an encouraging and welcoming environment and with the support of our compassionate volunteers we hope to deliver a programme that will be led by the teenagers and young people themselves.
