We in the UK are blamed for buying on price. Nevertheless we still have a decent supply of artisan cheeses, although the market for those is limited to the connoisseurs and I think the maximum price is somewhere between £30-40/kg. Then I blow my mind when walking past a cheese stall on a Turin market where I see prices up to €100/kg. I find Italy very affordable generally, so these prices surprised me. Even for specialty products.

The Dairy Industries Expo takes place in NAEC STONELEIGH, UK (near Coventry)29&30/10. On 27/10 we will receive 2 big crates with equipment. Once these have been removed from the crates the equipment will not go back in. These 2 crates will be free to collect that day (27/10) in the afternoon. It’s better that they get reused, then ending on a bonfire a few days later (Guy Fawkes night, a major celebration in the UK). Or you want to collect it for that purpose perhaps.

A new Facchinetti PR01 fixed weight cutter was delivered last week at a new customer. This is his reaction: "Came in by myself on Sunday and cut 240 kilos of cheese to understand the machine, there are a couple of minor things needing addresseing but I am very pleased with it." YES! These cutters CUT it. Don't give cheese away, cut precise and earn this back in no time and then start making money!
