Whole barley, bruised barley, layered meal, pellets and mixed grain… an "all you can eat buffet" available at the shop in 20kg and 25kg bags.

Well not a shop thing but at the community council on Wednesday I raised the issue about the recycling bin being always full. I thought it was on a regular collection.

I emailed OIC from a card given by the councillor Stephen Clackson... And WOW... Saturday and it's emptied!

So if it's full, email the council. Result 😀

UPDATE The trip to kirkwall was a success and we have some stock.

We know you have been waiting, so we will open the shop between 12-1pm tomorrow.

No delivery tonight from the co-op.

As you will know this happened last week to us, Papa Westray and shetland. Apparently a computer "glitch".

We were promised they would put on a special delivery tonight but this has not arrived.

Jody and Karen will be dashing into kirkwall tomorrow to get as much as we can, but stocks will be low until monday.

We are really sorry this has happened.

We'll update once we know what's happened.
