Farmers at breaking point 😢

Your boss has just told you your salary is dropping by 25%.

Your job title isn’t changing.
Your responsibilities aren’t changing.
You’re still working 90+ hours a week — so getting a second job isn’t even an option.

On top of that, you’ve been given more paperwork just to keep doing the same job…
while non-UK workers don’t need to meet those same requirements 🫣

You’re also told you need to give 12 months’ notice to leave - but no one else is hiring anyway, so finding another job would be unlikely.

At the same time, your bills are going up.
So just turning up to work now costs more than it ever has.

And this isn’t just a job.
It’s your life. Your identity.
Other lives rely on you. Walking away isn’t realistic.

This is the reality for UK dairy farmers right now. 😥

Milk prices have dropped sharply — for many farmers by at least a quarter, some more —
yet the work, the standards, and the responsibility remain exactly the same, if not even more!

How would you feel if you were told you were losing 1/4 of your salary…
and there was absolutely nothing you could do about it?
