Welsh Hogget from the Farm 🐑

Grass fed Llygadenwyn Hogget. As we enter the time for new season lamb, many prefer hogget.

Hogget is over 12 months old, but not old enough to be mutton. It’s sits in between lamb and mutton in both age and flavour. It has a fantastic depth, perfect for slow cooks or dishes that are packed full of flavour.

These loins along with the legs have been delivered to and are being served on their menu at the moment. The shoulders, perfect for slow cooking and dicing, are available Canton this weekend.

It’s the week to celebrate the great beef Wales has to offer. We pride ourselves on only rearing and sourcing the finest beef for our butchery and restaurant customers.

This week we have some amazing Hereford x Angus, pure Hereford and some British dairy Frisian in the butchery.

These animals have been grazing the finest grass, herbs and pastures and roamed some of the finest land.

All butchery and dry ageing done in house by our team of experts. Accredited ‘Master Butchers’ with a passion to produce the finest quality beef.

Lampeter Butchery Unit

Join our growing field-to-fork family business. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking person to help with day-to-day operations at our Lampeter butchery unit.

Main Tasks
• Packing meat and preparing orders
• Operating machinery and working with sharp equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards
• Packing and preparing deliveries
• Order deliveries
• Record keeping and general support

What We’re Looking For
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
• Punctual, reliable and tidy
• Physically fit (lifting, walking, standing for long periods)
• Wants to get ‘stuck in’ and work as part of a small team

Extra Opportunity 🐑🐄🍀
Optional days working on the farm for those interested in learning more about our field-to-fork system.
