Food systems are complex. We don’t pretend otherwise.
At Edenmoor, our approach to slaughter is guided by one core principle: minimising stress and suffering for the animal at every stage of its life.
We hear from many people, often very passionately, who ask whether we are halal or kosher certified. Here at Edenmoor we do not practice any form of religious slaughter, and all animals are fully stunned in accordance with high-welfare practices.
We recognise that religious practices hold deep meaning and importance for many communities, and we respect those beliefs. Our decision not to practice is a choice based on the specific welfare standards we follow on our farms and in our abattoirs.
To ensure the highest welfare right up to the end of life, we work with local, small-scale, farmyard-based abattoirs rather than industrial slaughterhouses. Using these abattoirs helps minimise stress on the animals by keeping travel distances short, and enables us to have a trusted, transparent relationship with the people handling them.
For reasons of security and to protect our partners, we don’t share specific abattoir codes publicly. All the facilities we use are approved and inspected under UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) regulations, so they meet or exceed national food safety and welfare standards.
We believe thoughtful conversations matter more than polarised ones, and we’re always open to respectful dialogue about animal welfare, farming, and food.

At Edenmoor, we like to do things the old-fashioned way. We pay farmers a fair price to farm in harmony with nature, producing food slowly, ethically, and sustainably.
We have real people on the end of the phone who know our customers by name, and a relentless focus on quality runs through everything we do, from sourcing animals and produce, to dry-aging and artisan butchery, to careful packing and personal customer service.
Since the 1960s, the UK has seen supermarkets rise to become the dominant players in the food industry. Driven by profit, these forces pushed for faster, cheaper production and longer shelf life, pressuring farmers to produce more for less. But at what cost? The rise of ultra-processed foods has left many of us unhealthier, less satisfied, and disconnected from what we eat.
We believe food, farmers, and the environment should exist in harmony. Every choice we make, from how our animals are raised to how our food is packed, is designed to protect that balance.
Supporting Edenmoor means preserving the traditional fabric of the English countryside, nurturing regenerative farming, and enjoying food with exceptional flavour and integrity.

At Edenmoor, our mission is simple: to bring the finest food in the UK straight to your door and to connect you with food you can trust.
Nestled between Dartmoor and Exmoor, the landscape that inspires everything we do, reminds us that producing food is not just a craft, it’s a partnership with the land itself. That’s why we champion regenerative, nature-friendly practices as the most sustainable way to create truly exceptional and nutritious food.
Our farmers and producers nurture their lands and resources with care, ensuring their food is produced in harmony with nature. Each farmer, fisher, dairy, maker and artisan producer are a master of their craft. Bringing them all together at Edenmoor means we can offer our customers an ethical and meaningful alternative to industrial agriculture.
The result is clean, nutritious food that not only tastes extraordinary and is better for our health, but also supports the livelihoods of local producers, the welfare of animals, and the rural communities where this food is grown and raised.
These principles have guided us from the start, and they continue to shape every decision we make as we deliver Britain’s most thoughtfully produced food to your home.

✨ Just over a week to go… ✨
Our evolution to Edenmoor is nearly here and we couldn’t be more excited. The response so far from our farmers, suppliers and customers has been incredible. Thank you.
Before we make the switch, here are a few helpful things to know:
👉 Will prices change?
No. There are no price changes because of the rebrand. As always, our pricing reflects fair pay for farmers and exceptional value for you.
👉 What about my existing orders, points or deliveries?
Everything continues as normal. Orders, reward points and delivery schedules are completely unaffected.
👉 Will the packaging change?
Our commitment to thoughtful, sustainable packaging stays exactly the same. From 2nd February, you’ll start to see Edenmoor branding appear. To minimise waste, we won’t be recycling Pipers Farm boxes and wool pouches, so for a short while you may receive a mix of both. Rest assured, it’s the same trusted suppliers, the same butchery, and the same care, all dispatched from our Cullompton HQ.
👉 Will the website or emails change?
Yes. From 2nd February, pipersfarm.com will become edenmoor.com, although when you arrive at our website you'll not notice any big changes, we love it just as it is! Emails will come from [email protected], so if you think you're missing something please check your junk.
👉 What do I need to do?
Nothing at all. Just enjoy the same great food you know and love!
We can’t wait to welcome you to Edenmoor.

As we prepare to start our Edenmoor chapter, we wanted to give you a little insight into how our new name and identity came to life.
We worked closely with Chalk & Ward, a local creative agency, to help craft our new name and identity. We held workshops to explore ideas, test concepts, and ensure every element of Edenmoor reflects the values we share with you.
Our new logo was inspired by the rolling hills and moors of Devon which, when paired with the imagine of the sun, captures the sense of a new dawn.
We worked with Nick from Oceanic, who helped us capture the essence of Pipers through the eyes of our customers, ensuring we remained true to our heritage, whilst looking forward to an exciting future. He spoke to hundreds of you, listening to what you love about us, what inspires confidence, and what a new name should feel like. Your feedback continues to shape everything we do.
We hope to have captured the heart of our story, the landscapes, farmers, and producers that make our food so special. This is what Edenmoor means to us.
Every design choice, every word, and every visual element has been guided by the people and practices behind the food you trust.

We as a family have been retailing food for generations. Today Pipers Farm has been operating for almost 30 years, working hard to deliver delicious food across the country.
It’s our philosophy to grow healthy animals with a strong natural immunity, we believe this is the best way to produce meat, which is wholesome and healthy.
The Pipers Farm family embraces 25 family run farms, all helping to produce food that tastes amazing. Like generations before us, we work in harmony with nature and the landscape around us. We passionately believe in the common sense of traditional sustainable values that have been handed down through generations of family farms.
Making sure we have enough food for the future and looking after our planet for the next generation is vital to us as a business. Reducing food waste is a key part of preserving a healthy and sustainable countryside.
Our butchers utilise the whole carcass from nose to tail and ensure nothing is ever wasted. We encourage our customers to realise the true value of the meat they eat by looking beyond the best known cuts and trying something a little different.
We have specifally chosen breeds that are native to this part of the world. We do not produce Red Ruby beef, Suffolk lamb or Saddleback pork because it’s fashionable, we grow these traditional breeds because they thrive on the terrain and climate here in Devon.
Our ruminant animals only ever eat a diet of 100% pure natural grass, all grown on our farms. Our chickens and pigs, although not ruminants, also eat grass as a high proportion of their diet.
We are passionate about the Slow Food movement, a grassroots organisation that is the alternative to fast food. Slow food strives to preserve traditional and regional cusine and encourages farming characteristics in line with the local ecosystem. The Slow Food motto is “Good, clean and fair” a sentiment with which we couldn’t agree more with.
