The Little Bakery will be joining us this month bringing the pies that have earned them a loyal following at farmers markets across Scotland.

Run by father and son team Kerr and Nick Little, this Dumfries bakery has become especially well known for its huge range of pies, including their World Championship winning Scotch Pie. Alongside that you'll usually find everything from traditional favourites to more creative fillings, all wrapped in the kind of pastry that keeps people coming back month after month. 👏

Whether you're stocking the fridge or just sorting dinner for the next few nights, it's well worth a stop.

🥯 BAGELHOOSE RETURNS THIS JUNE 🥯

Bagelhoose will be back with us again this month and honestly, we don’t know how they keep managing to sell out so quickly every single market.

What makes it even more impressive is that they’ve been bringing more stock each month and people are still clearing them out before the end of the day. So if Bagelhoose is on your must-visit list, arriving early is definitely the safest plan. 👀

Freshly made bagels, huge demand and one of those traders people head straight for as soon as the market opens.

There are a few traders at the market where arriving late can be a risky strategy, and Cakes By Rebecca Ltd is definitely one of them.

Known for generous portions, bold flavours and those famous oversized fondant fancies, Rebecca has built a huge following that seems to grow every month. If you've seen the queues at her new Barras shop, you'll know exactly what we mean.

Whether you're picking up a cupcake, traybake or one of those fondant fancies that are absolutely nothing like the tiny versions you remember, this is a stall that's well worth making a beeline for.

Our advice? Don't leave it until your last lap of the market.

🍬 A WELCOME RETURN FOR SIMBA'S SWEETS 🍬

After taking a month off, Simba's Sweet's will be back with us this June and we're sure there will be a few happy faces when they see that table packed with sweet treats again.

From classic pick and mix favourites to retro sweets, this is a stall that seems to attract everyone from excited kids to adults suddenly rediscovering sweets they haven't thought about in years.

🍬 THE PRAIRIE QUEEN EMPORIUM RETURNS THIS JUNE 🍬

After a couple of months away, we're delighted to welcome The Prairie Queen Emporium back to the market this June.

If you're a fan of proper Scottish tablet, this is one to seek out. Made in small batches by a one-woman business based in Glasgow's West End, their tablet combines traditional methods with a creative twist, meaning you'll often find a mix of classic favourites alongside more unusual flavours.

A lovely independent business and one we're very pleased to have back with us this month.

🌿 YOUR LOCAL CHANCE TO REFILL IS BACK THIS JUNE 🌿

Wee Green Neuk returns this month, bringing the refill shop experience back to Clarkston for the day.

If you've been missing having somewhere local to top up your household staples, this is your chance to stock up. Bring along your empty jars and tubs and fill them with everything from pasta, rice, lentils and pulses to muesli, jumbo porridge oats, mixed nuts, trail mix, chia seeds, rapeseed oil and balsamic vinegar.

One of our favourite things about their stall is the chance to create your own perfect granola. Start with Wee Green Neuk's organic granola base, then customise it with your choice of nuts, seeds and dried fruit. 🥣

And if you're bringing the kids along, don't be surprised if they make a beeline for the vegan gummy sweetie jars. Though from what we've seen, the grown-ups seem just as excited by those. 👀

June is an especially good month to visit, as Wee Green Neuk won't be able to join us in July. If there are products you regularly buy from them, now's the time to fill up and get ahead.

They had a month off but the Bavarian Bakehouse are back by popular demand after selling out at their first market with us in April.

Known for their award-winning baking and instantly recognisable pretzel logo, they bring a brilliant mix of German-inspired bakes, artisan breads and pastries that always attract plenty of attention. Whether you're reaching for a classic salt pretzel, a fresh croissant or a loaf to take home for the weekend, quality is never in short supply.
