A slight plot twist 🏥🥩
As some of you may know, I have Gastroparesis—a condition that affects my day-to-day life. After a number of unsuccessful treatments, I’ve now been given the opportunity to have further surgery 🏥
I won’t lie… when the consultant said “it’s done with a robot” and then followed it with “no heavy lifting for 4–6 weeks” (which means no carrying carcasses or using a saw… yes, I did ask 🤦🏽♀️), I nearly did a runner 🏃🏽♀️ So I delayed it until after lambing 🐑🤣
But this is something I need to do, and I’m hopeful it will improve my health 🤞🏽
I’ll still have fresh meat available, alongside some frozen stock 🥩 (because let’s be honest, I don’t know how to “rest & take it easy ” 🤦🏽♀️)… I just won’t be handling carcasses for a few weeks 🥴
