The results of the latest round of our blue token scheme are in and all three good causes received a welcome cash boost 💷 💷 💷

🥇John Grant School was awarded £1500

🥈Sunbeams Play received £1000

🥉And £500 went to Great Yarmouth Primary academy

The funding came from Tesco’s stronger starts scheme in partnership with the Groundwork charity, which supports many community projects and good causes, giving away thousands of pounds.

The East Coast Truckers will be visiting our store THIS Saturday fund raising from 09:30 They will also be bringing some trucks along so come down to our car park and say hello, donate and have a picture taken 📷

The charity provides fun and memorable days out for disadvantaged and disabled children across East Anglia including the spectacular annual convoy of 100+ vehicles from Norwich to Pleasurewood Hills 🎢 which takes place on August 30th

As part of our Free Fruit & Veg for Schools programme, today we continued to donate fruit and visited Hopton C.E. Primary Academy, Moorlands Primary Academy, Friends of Woodlands Primary Academy, Homefield Primary PTA, Wroughton Academies - Wroughton Infant + Wroughton Junior Academy, Stradbroke Primary Academy and Hillside Primary School, Bradwell to donate trays of apples to each school.

🍎 🍎 🍎 🍎 🍎 🍎 FREE APPLES 🍏 🍏 🍏 🍏 🍏 🍏

With the schools currently closed for the half term holidays, we can again offer trays of fresh apples (each tray has approx 140 apples) to local charities and organisations that have not already received free apples over the last couple of weeks.

These are available on a first come first served basis and you must be able to collect from the customer service desk instore tomorrow (Tuesday). If you would we like to be considered please drop us a message in the comments section below and we will get back to you if you are successful. Please note to ensure fairness and to reach as many people as possible please only request if you have not benefited from this before.
