‘Tales of Huckleberry Hedge - A Crumbling Christmas’ is finally here!! 🎉
This magical and festive tale follows Huckle the Highland Cow, Dumpling the Deer, Orchard the Owl and Fig the Fox as they wake on Christmas morning to find their tower of presents crumbled to the ground. At first, it feels like Christmas Day is ruined… but with a little bit of creativity and Christmas joy, they soon learn that Christmas isn’t about the gifts at all. Instead, it’s about something far more precious - the people we get to spend it with.

This story carries a message that’s incredibly close to my heart. Since losing my mum, Christmas has been one of the most difficult times of the year for me and my family. Writing A Crumbling Christmas gave me the chance to capture a message my mum always taught us, that the true gift of Christmas and all year round - is the love of family and friends. If this little book can remind even one person not to take that for granted, then I know I’ve done something right.
I truly hope A Crumbling Christmas will find a special place in your heart and perhaps become a tradition in your own home as a book to be read on Christmas Eve, just like my mum used to read to us. If I can help create even a fraction of the magic she brought to the world, I’ll know I’m on the right path…
