We are to welcome back Crafting for Communities to our 'Late Spring' market on Saturday 30th May.

Crafting for Communities, based in Stourbridge, will be at our market with their incredible charity - knitted, crochet & sewn items…

''We are a charity that crafts for the community. A large team of crafters make items to donate and raise money. We have 20 hubs across Dudley and beyond, including Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, Sandwell, West Bromwich and South Staffordshire. Our amazing team of volunteer drivers distributes to these hubs and the communities we support. With over 2,000 Facebook members—makers, volunteers, and supporters—we’ve been entirely self-funded, raising money through donations, online auctions, and financial contributions. Beyond the making, we’ve built a strong, supportive community of mostly women—Merry Makers—who uplift each other, providing purpose and improving mental health. Many say this group has been their lifeline. We are making and distributing around 4,000 to 6,000 items a month to our community in Hospitals, Hospices, Care Homes, Schools and any other Charity that would benefit for our makes to provide comfort during trauma. We make useful items, that bring joy or relieves discomfort. We make many items… Crochet and knitted items, Teddies/toys, Heart pairs, Dementia items, Sensory items, Incubator covers. Incubator mattresses, Drain bags, Gifts for Christmas and Easter. Heart cushions for mastectomy comfort. Care bags for Palliative Care. Angel baby items. Worry monsters and Worry worms, sensory items to name but a few.'' - Trish, Pauline & Stan from Crafting for Communities.

We are elated to welcome back Abierto Domingo to our 'Late Spring' market on Saturday 30th May.

Abierto Domingo will be performing live on stage throughout market day.

𝘼𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙧, 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙧 ... .. 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙊𝙛 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨

If you're planning a Special Event and you want some classy live instrumental background music, Abierto Domingo could be just what you're looking for.

Abierto Domingo are Brian Smith, fingerstyle acoustic
guitar and Pete Taylor, bass guitar.

Both are experienced and accomplished musicians.

And together they produce a sound which is full, rich and easy on the ear.

Whatever your tastes in music, from Elvis to The Beatles, Clapton to Queen, Gershwin to Sinatra, or maybe a selection of film themes, all are classic songs
and provide the perfect background music for your special event.

Usually, they don’t need a PA system, just their guitars and a couple of small amps. So setting up is quick and easy and they can perform in a small area if space is limited.

On the other hand, if you have an arena to fill, then that is no problem as they do have their own PA!

In some of the songs you will hear a distinct Spanish influence.

They can also learn any songs you specially request.
To have a listen, go to their page (link at the top of the post).

This is why they call themselves Abierto (pronounced abbey-air-toe) Domingo. It means 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗢𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 !

Abierto Domingo will give you the perfect performance at your:

Wedding
Corporate Event
Fete
Dinner
Party
In fact, at any Special Event
or Occasion you can think of.

Travel is no problem and their rates are surprisingly reasonable.
