I haven't showed you much of the charcuterie that we sell, so let me introduce you to a few for now;

Speck Alto Adige
This is produced below the Alps in the beautiful Vinshgau Valley and is a Tyrolean speciality, rubbed in spices and herbs then beechwood smoked before curing for at least 22 weeks.

DOP (Protected Designation of Origin, this guarantees that the product was processed and packaged exclusively in the area it states it is from) Parma Ham Eccellenze. Cured for 30 months, it is tender and sweet, a delicate explosion of flavour. Italian Pork and Sea Salt, that's it!

DOP Prosciutto di San Daniele. A prestigious Italian dry-cured ham made only from Italian Pork leg and sea salt. It is aged for 16-18 months and has a sweet, delicate flavour. Excellent with fresh figs, melon or mild cheeses.

A new delivery or this week contains, amongst other things:

Italian PROSCIUTTO Cotto with herbs. Italian ham cooked with an intense and delicate flavour. High quality pork massaged with a recipe including Juniper, Bay Leaves and Salt and Pepper.

Negroni Rustico Salami, with subtle flavours of pepper, garlic and white wine.

Sussex Floral, a semi-soft buttery ORGANIC cheese coated in edible petals.

After a pretty unsettling week we are back to normal (whatever that is), thank you for your understanding.
Some new stock has arrived too:
Green Olives stuffed with Feta
Gorgonzola Dolce DOP
Barber's 1833 Vintage Reserve Cheddar
Cornish Wild Garlic Yarg.

We have also restocked the Sundried tomatoes with spices which everyone has been enjoying on their salads while having lunch at our exclusive (we only have 2!) tables while relaxing and watching the world go by through our lovely big windows.
Have a wonderful weekend, and we will be open tomorrow too.

I am really sorry but the shop will be open on restricted hours, possibly for the rest of the week. I will try and open between 10am and 3pm but these are a guide only due to personal circumstances at home. I will do my very best but please understand if I am not open when you need me to be πŸ˜’

The next Sunday Brunch will be Sunday 14 June. All sorts of Artisan yumminess including toasted Sourdough, jam, marmalade, honey, orange juice, Muesli, selection of artisan breads, charcuterie, cheeses, chutnies and bottomless tea and coffee.
