A quiet slice of English countryside, home to our herd of boer goats, pigs, sheep and a good handful of various breeds of chickens and ducks. We bought Three Acres in 2016 following a fairly rough 18 months. Richard was diagnosed with PTSD following 25 years in the ambulance service, and I lost both my parents in quick succession so we decided to turn two negatives into a positive outcome and buy
our dream - initially a few rescue donkeys and some ropey old chickens - which over the past 4 years has expanded to what we have today. With this quick growing journey, we realised that what we actually had was ‘a hobby that can pay some of the bills’, and have successfully sold our eggs, my chutneys and jams, and Richards veg boxes on a whim and fancy basis. Now we believe we can offer more goodies from here so you can enjoy a little bit of our good life from our slice of English Countryside!
