🥈 Archie’s lambs🥈

These are the second prize lambs from Keighley Show, farmed by our very own Archie — and they’re now on the counter at Barnes!

Seeing how far he’s coming along with both his farming and butchery, we’ve got to give him his dues. He’s still a headache at times 😂 but the lad’s certainly getting good at his craft!

Second place as well… we won’t mention how many entered. Maybe first next year, Archie 😉

Ben has asked me to post this purely for sympathy, so please do the decent thing and come buy one today. Apparently a busy counter and an empty quiche shelf will make him feel much better about his life choices…

So get yourselves in and grab a quiche, or any of our pies for that matter, because if there’s any left, I’ll have to listen to him moan about getting up at 3:30am… and trust me, you’ll be doing me a favour as well 😂

Ben’s back banging on about chicken this week!

Ours is British and locally sourced, with considerably fewer air miles than Ben’s managed to rack up this year. We like our holidays abroad, not our chicken….
And if you’re not sure where yours has come from, ask your butcher… the answer might surprise you 👀
