Happy Black Friday, Lovelies! 🎉💫

I hope you spent your hard-earned cash supporting small business owners today. A massive thank you to all of our amazing customers—you truly made this Super Friday special for us! You had me restocking and restocking the counter—WOW, you really showed up and showed out! 🙌

But this post isn’t about Cups n Cakes… I’m here to introduce two more incredible traders who’ll be joining us at our Festive Market this Sunday! 🎄✨

First up, welcome Suzy Bloom! 🌸
Suzy is a qualified florist from the early 90s, and her work is absolutely stunning. She always uses my homegrown flowers to create her breathtaking arrangements. Suzy is not only a talented artist but also one of the kindest people I know, and I’m lucky to own several of her beautiful arrangements, both at home and in the shop. Trust me, you’re in for a real treat when you visit her stall! 💐

Next, we have Maid of the Forth! 🚤
Experience the beauty of South Queensferry and Edinburgh like never before! Captain Scott and Duncan are the trusted hands behind the Maid, with Sarah Wylie managing day-to-day operations. Sarah will be joining us at the market with some fabulous items from the Maid of the Forth gift shop—there’s something for everyone! She’ll also have tour vouchers available, including for the Afternoon Tea Cruise—which I highly recommend. The food was absolutely delicious, and my guests had an unforgettable time! 🌟 Be sure to stop by and say hello to Suzy and Sarah.

We hope you're spreading the word and telling all your family, friends, and customers about the market they absolutely cannot miss! It's almost here! 😁 And you know what time it is… time to meet another fantastic trader at the market! 🛍️

Today's feature is Beedeesbybee – isn't that a snappy name? 😍 Beedees started earlier this year with a mission to support positive mental health through the creation of stunning diamond art canvas prints. Since then, Bee has expanded her craft and now offers a wide range of handmade items, including bookmarks, magnets, coasters, keychains, jewellery boxes, and notebooks. ✨

For the market, Bee has even added a special Christmas collection 🎄, including festive tree decorations and wall hangings! 🎅 Each item is crafted by hand in Kirkcaldy, with individual beads placed meticulously to create gorgeous, slightly shiny pieces. Because who doesn’t love a little sparkle, right? ✨✨

Wow, what a day it was yesterday! That storm really took Scotland by surprise, didn’t it? 😱 It had us all on edge for a while, but thankfully today’s a much brighter and warmer day—just what we needed! 🌤️

And with only 7 days to go until our Christmas Festive Market, the excitement is building! 🎄✨ It’s the perfect chance to pick up some beautiful, handmade gifts for loved ones (or for yourself, of course!). Today's feature Trader is - Cloverlea Apiaries "The Friendly Bee Company"

Cloverlea Apiaries, also known as "The Friendly Bee Company," is a family-run honey bee farm located in the picturesque Ochil Hills of Perthshire, Scotland. The story of the farm began when Jeff, the father of the family, received a beehive as a retirement gift from his family, marking the beginning of a lifelong passion for beekeeping. Over time, as they honed their skills in breeding and maintaining honey bees, the family decided to make a bold move from Manchester and Leicester to the idyllic Cloverlea smallholding. This relocation allowed them to live together and turn their passion for bees into a thriving family business.

Today, the Cloverlea Apiaries team, which includes Jeff, Karen, Tracy, and mum and dad (Jeff & Margaret), work together in various aspects of the business. Visitors may find them extracting and packaging their award-winning honey in the honey house or handcrafting natural skincare products like candles, soaps, and cosmetics in the craft house. Their handmade range of products includes luxurious body and face creams, foot scrubs, lip balms, bath fizz, and more—all created with natural ingredients, preservatives, micas, and clays. Karen and Tracy, who are involved in every step of production, ensure that each product reflects the care and passion the family has for their craft.

🎉 9 Days to Go! 🎉

I’m practically bursting with excitement—just 9 days until Cups 'N' Cakes Festive Christmas Market on December 1st, from 10-3pm at Studio 8 in Glenrothes! It’s going to be an amazing day with so many talented traders, and today, we’re featuring another wonderful family business that will be joining us: Good Life Farming! 🐖🥓

Good Life Farming is a true family affair, run by Karen, her husband Donald, daughters Hannah and Ailidh, and of course, Dad Jim—who I adore. 😍 They’re based in beautiful Perthshire, and their journey began back in 2013 when Donald pitched an idea to Karen and Jim: to rear dairy bull calves instead of letting them be culled. 🐄💡

Donald has a deep-rooted passion for farming, having been born and raised on a dairy farm. He’s always believed that dairy bull calves have so much potential, and that sparked their incredible journey. In early 2014, while some parents were saving for their kids' futures, Donald and Karen invested in pigs for their daughters Hannah and Ailidh. This led to them selling fresh pork at local markets—a brilliant step toward a sustainable, family-run business. 🐷💰

Fast forward to today, and Good Life Farming has expanded into a wide range of products, including mouthwatering charcuterie like Bresaola, Soppressata, and Firecracker. They now also cure their own pork to make traditional Dry Cured Bacon and Smoked Bacon. 🥓🍽️ Everything they sell has been nurtured and crafted by the whole family, from start to finish.

I can’t tell you enough how incredible their products are—whether for my own business or personal use, Good Life Farming is always my go-to supplier. I know whatever they serve up at the market will be absolutely delicious! 😋🔥
