Great British Food Awards shortlisting day.

Brilliant to spend the day in London judging for .

We worked our way through all manner of fantastic British food and drink — honey, chocolate, soft drinks and, naturally, quite a lot of cheese.

What really stood out was the care, craft and attention to detail behind every product. Proper flavour, proper skill, and a lot of people making things with real pride.

Always a privilege to play a small part in celebrating brilliant British producers.

But honestly, this is exactly the weather for it.
