Who fancies b**r with a side of history? That’s what’s coming up at our Dark Side of B**r event with our very own b**r expert, Sam 🍻

On the day, try a range of dark b**rs like Black Lodge Brewery (who are based right here in Liverpool) and Bullhouse Brew Co from Belfast.

Halloween is nearly here, and the range we have in the Deli is scarily good 👻

If you need something for a party at home, trick-or-treaters, or just some goodies for yourself, it’s all treat and no trick here.

For the kids, we’ve got themed biscuits they’ll love from Original Biscuit Bakers and Treacle Truffles from Salcombe Dairy are the perfect grown-up treat, plus plenty more besides.

For our next event, think Horrible Histories, but with good b**r 🍻

On Saturday, November 7th, our very own Cicerone (that’s a b**r sommelier for those who aren’t in the know), Sam, is taking us on a deep dive of the darker side of British b**r, along with the even darker side of brewing history.

Hear all about juicy family feuds and chilling murders with five dark b**rs to taste along the way, including a London porter.

Come hungry, because we’ll be pairing small plates with the b**rs to show how well they can work with food.

We’ve got a soft spot for these awards, so we’re chuffed to be back on the shortlist for the Taste of the Liverpool City Region – Restaurant of the Year.

It’s our fifth year in a row, and the shortlist is full of brilliant names from across the region. It’s especially lovely to see so many independent businesses recognised, and we’re proud to be in such good company.

Thank you to everyone who keeps coming through our doors at Dockside. We’ll raise a glass with the other finalists at Liverpool Cathedral on the 4th of February.

Just a reminder that well-behaved dogs are VERY welcome at Delifonseca 🐶

Bring your four-legged friend along when you come in for a coffee or a bite to eat. Stop by after a walk along the dock, and let them have a rest while you warm up.

We always like meeting a new face, whether it has two legs or four 🐾

The bread on your plate in our restaurant and the loaf you take home from the Deli both come from Plattsville Bakehouse, one of the local businesses that we love to champion.

It started in a home kitchen on Plattsville Road in Liverpool, with a note put through twenty doors. Now it’s a wholesale bakery in Speke, and every loaf is made with Wildfarmed regenerative flour, grown in healthy, living soil.

We like our bread to come from people who care where the wheat comes from, the process behind it, and making sure it’s the best it can be.

Take a loaf home from the Deli next time you’re in 🥖
