It’s rhubarb crumble season! 🌷🥄
Our organic rhubarb is here and it’s made for the classics… tart, juicy, and perfect under a golden, buttery crumble.
Simple Rhubarb Crumble Recipe (serves 4–6):
• 500g rhubarb, chopped
• 100g natural brown caster sugar
• 150g plain flour
• 100g cold butter, cubed
• 75g Demerara sugar (for the crumble)
Pop the rhubarb into a baking dish and toss with the caster sugar. In a bowl, rub the cold butter into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs, then stir in the Demerara sugar. Scatter over the rhubarb and bake at 180°C (160°C fan) for 35–40 mins until golden and bubbling 🧑🍳
For a thicker, more jammy filling, you can pre-cook the rhubarb for 10 minutes before adding the crumble topping!
