I never thought I’d be writing something like this but as of today, The Church Green will be closing its doors with immediate effect.
This decision hasn’t come lightly. There have been some unexpected developments recently things outside of our control and after careful thought and ongoing conversations with my team, we’ve had to make the incredibly tough call to close the pub.
If you have a valid gift voucher, don’t worry we’ll make sure you’re refunded in full. And to those who’ve made upcoming bookings, I can only offer my sincere apologies that we won’t be able to honour them.
More than anything, I want to thank every single guest, friend, and local who’s supported us over the past few years. It’s been an absolute privilege to welcome you through our doors, to share in your milestones, and to create memories together. This place has meant the world to me and that’s entirely down to all of you.
