This little chap has been found wandering in Cross Inn tonight. Does anyone know this dog? He is safe but would probably prefer to be home. Please ring 07837 425419. He got lucky tonight.

These signs are the ones that are causing confusion for many people. We have spoken to Young Brothers and Highways, neither are aware or responsible for the signs but to clarify, the road is not closed between Synod Inn and New Quay.

It's not a beautiful job but the road is now open.... I think the barriers have gone !!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 DON'T TAKE ANY NOTICE OF THE 'ROAD CLOSED' SIGNS.....

I'm not sure how to explain this so I'll add a photo. The road is closed at the Cross roads by the pub. You can't drive into our car park from New Quay end but you can from Synod Inn. The pub is accessible from Caerwedros and New Quay. There are no road signs from Synod Inn to say "Siop Y Pentref"" are open but, we are!

We have been assured that the Synod Inn to New Quay road will be opened on the evening of Thursday 30th April until early morning Tuesday 5th May. This opening will just be for the Bank Holiday although it is hoped that work will be completed by 12th May. Everything is crossed that the end is in sight ....

Morning all. The roadworks have now reached the shop. Although the carpark will be inaccessible for vehicles for about a week, we will still be open and the workmen have promised to keep the path clear for pedestrians.
