It's not a beautiful job but the road is now open.... I think the barriers have gone !!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 DON'T TAKE ANY NOTICE OF THE 'ROAD CLOSED' SIGNS.....

I'm not sure how to explain this so I'll add a photo. The road is closed at the Cross roads by the pub. You can't drive into our car park from New Quay end but you can from Synod Inn. The pub is accessible from Caerwedros and New Quay. There are no road signs from Synod Inn to say "Siop Y Pentref"" are open but, we are!

We have been assured that the Synod Inn to New Quay road will be opened on the evening of Thursday 30th April until early morning Tuesday 5th May. This opening will just be for the Bank Holiday although it is hoped that work will be completed by 12th May. Everything is crossed that the end is in sight ....

Morning all. The roadworks have now reached the shop. Although the carpark will be inaccessible for vehicles for about a week, we will still be open and the workmen have promised to keep the path clear for pedestrians.

Hi everyone! We want to keep you all in the loop regarding the ongoing road closure with Dwr Cymru in Cross Inn, near our shop.

At present, access to Wynnstay and the shop is via New Quay.

Once works are completed on Monday, access arrangements will change. From the morning (9am ish) of Tuesday 20th April, access to Wynnstay will be via Synod Inn, while access to Siop Y Pentref will remain via New Quay.

Walk-in access will continue to be available from both directions as usual.

This information is from the contractors on site and may change depending on progress and issues.

Thank you for your patience and for your continued support during this difficult period while these critical works are ongoing.
